Who we are
MCK Estate is a boutique real-estate practice (the “Practice”, “we”, “us”) operating across Dubai & the UAE, Spain, and Poland. For the purposes of EU and UK data-protection law, MCK Estate is the data controller for personal information collected through this website.
What we collect
• Enquiry information — name, email, phone (if provided), the residence you enquired about, and the contents of your message. Provided by you when you submit an enquiry.
• Cookie preference — a single value stored in your browser’s local storage to remember whether you accepted or declined optional cookies.
• Aggregated, anonymous usage data — only if you consent to optional analytics. Page-view counts and the residences most viewed. Never tied to your identity.
How we use it
• To respond to your enquiry, arrange viewings, and manage the subsequent professional relationship (lawful basis: performance of a contract / our legitimate interest in responding to a direct enquiry).
• To improve the site and our property selection — only with your consent (lawful basis: consent).
• To meet our legal and regulatory obligations (anti-money-laundering, tax, etc.) — when applicable to a transaction (lawful basis: legal obligation).
How long we keep it
Active enquiries: until your matter is closed plus seven years thereafter (commercial-record retention). Cookie preferences: until you change them or clear your browser storage. Anonymous analytics: not retained at the individual level.
Your rights (EU / UK)
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, port, restrict or object to processing of your personal information, and to request its erasure. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, write to katharina.duda@mck.estate. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) gives you additional rights regarding your personal information:
• Right to know what personal information we have collected about you.
• Right to delete personal information we hold about you, subject to certain exceptions.
• Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
• Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information.
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising any of the above.
To exercise these rights, write to katharina.duda@mck.estate. We will respond within the timeframes required by law and may ask for information sufficient to verify your identity.
Do not sell or share my personal information
We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. There is therefore nothing to opt out of for sale or sharing — but if you wish to confirm this in writing, write to katharina.duda@mck.estate.
International transfers
Some of the partners we work with are located outside the EU/EEA (notably the UAE). Where personal information is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards including the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission, and will not transfer information without an adequate basis.
